The continuation of Cheerry Blossom Story

15th June 2008
- Well last night I watched the movie “Cherry Blossom Story”. It is a Japanese Cartoon Animation. Well although I watched it, the ending is left for viewers to decide what would be the outcome.

About the movie, it consists of three parts revolving of a main character “Haku”. Although there are 2 other character, Haku character is the main that focuses on the story. This is a typical love story. Below I have written the 3 parts so you can understand what I am saying, and I will write my own ending. See if its goes well.

1st part.

It all started in junior school when Haku and Akari who were physically unfit, were paired to do assignment and other research together. They became the center of attraction that even their classmate teased them and called them husband and wife. Their teasing was also expressed on the black board of their class. As time passed, they became close and more open to each other. Finally the day came where they had to go separate ways. It was graduation day and emotion was running high between the two. Although they had wanted to attend the same high school together, but fate was not on their side. As Akari parents were transferred to another part of the town because of their job. So they bid farewell and vowed to keep in touch via mail. It was almost a year since they had gone their separate ways. They had been keeping in touch and had planned to meet at a cherry tree at Ohioa on 4th march at 7pm. Haku was very excited and was looking for the day to come. Finally the arrived and he headed to the train station and boarded the train. As it was going to its destination, the train had to stop in several places due to bad weather. It was snowing heavily outside. He arrived at another station. He had to wait for the next train, he went to buy a drink. He was taking his hand out from his pocket to take out the money. His letter some how came out together and in a flash it flew away due to strong wind. He couldn’t chase it as it was out of his sight in a second. He heart felt very heavy, as he had planned to give the letter to Akari. Now it gone and the entire thing he had wanted to say to her was gone. Soon the train arrived and he boarded his train. Along the way the train had to stop due to bad weather. He kept checking his watch. It was 9pm and he still had not reached his destination. On his mind, he was very anxious and had many thought of her, like how she would look like and other stuff. In another point, he wished she would go back home, as he was way back late. It was almost 12am when he finally reached his destination. He alighted the train and headed to the exit. It was quite late in the morning and there were not passenger at wee hour. He slowly made his way to the waiting area. As he was walking towards the way, he could see some one on the chair sleeping with the head down. Now he was just a foot away from here and called her name. She raised her head and “Haku, I missed you” came her first word. Although they had mailed each other every now and than, but their physical existence was not there. They talked on and Akira took out the food she had prepared for him. They ate together; the counter officer told them that the station was closing soon. They left and headed outside on the freezing snow. They made their way to the cherry tree which Akira had told him about it in the mail. Finally they arrived at their destination. He knew they were late, as the tree was bald due to the falling of its petals which only last until 8pm before shedding. At that very moment Akira hugged Haku and planted a kiss on his lips. He was very shocked and excited at the moment; no word could describe it as they lay there motionless for some time. In his mind, somehow he felt it was not impossible for them to be together. They than headed to the barn and slept together using a thick blanket to cover their body from the harsh cold weather. Morning came and It was time for Haku to leave. At the station, they bid farewell and wished each other a better tomorrow.

2nd part.

Hitana a 4th year of Oyama High school student had been secretly in love with Haku since the last 3 years and graduation was coming soon. Haku a transfer student was very unique to Hitana, this was what she felt for him. She had several time wanted to reveal her affection for him but couldn’t. In one point she was given a form to fill for her to choose her university choice, but didn’t reply it. It was 6pm and was ready to leave for home. She would secretly watch him in the compound where Haku would practice archery, as this was his curriculum activity. And rush back when he was about to leave for home. At that moment she would hide when he was coming than she would make her presence. Haku saw her and asked if she would like his company back together. She obviously wants, and agrees. They use their scooter and heads out together. After some mile they will stop at a shop to buy drinks. While Haku takes out a packet of milk, Hitana still search for her drink. Haku comments on her for being picky. As he leaves for the cash counter, she feels the urge to tell him, but couldn’t tell him. Finally she buys her drink and joins him outside. They have their drink and chats along. “Hitana please come to the office” said the sound box on the ceiling. She heads to the office and was greeted by the counselor. The counselor asks her why she has not still filled the choice of her university. She was going back home when she saw Haku scooter at the side of the road and stops. She goes up the slope and finds Haku using his cell phone. Haku notices and asked her to join him in the relaxation mode. She asks him why he always uses the cell. He says it was to e-mail his friend. They talks along and Hitana ask him here was going after graduation. He tells her maybe to Tokyo. He than ask her. She still confused tells him she was not sure and as it goes by she takes out the option paper and make it into a paper plane. She flies it off. Now going back, it was raining and as they were about to cross the other junction, a heavy load of truck was coming the in the opposite of the plus junction. So they stop to let pass the truck. As the truck pass by, they realize the truck was heading to the rocket launch arena.
Just before graduation, Hitana tries to express her feeling but she wasn’t able.

3rd part.

The year 2008, Haku is a successful computer programmer and he has been very busy with his work. He was lost of his world due to work. He would work till the wee hour of the night. It was work and work and nothing more. He had no life.

Akira now was getting ready to get married.

Hitana was now working.

Haku now who had no life was fed up and frustrated decided to quit his job as he found his life no meaningful. Akari who on the other hand flash backed Haku memory, while she had stumbled upon the mail which she received when she was 13 years old. Hitana just called Haku to greet him. Haku was walking on the pavement, when he realized the person who walked past him was some one familiar. He stopped walking and stood there for a while. He waited a few second, and decided to see who it was. As he was turning, a train just bypassed them and he couldn’t tell who it was on the other side. When the train was out of his sight, there wasn’t anyone on the other side.

THIS WAS WHAT THE MOVIE WAS ABOUT. BELOW IS WHAT I THINK THE OUTCOME WILL BE.

My prediction - part 1.

As he stood there realizing there was no one, he turned and continued his walk. As he was walking, thought comes up to his mind, and tells him to turn back and rush to see who the person was. So he turns and runs toward the opposite direction. He runs as fast as he could and after some meter, he couldn’t find the person. He searched the street and the shops but could not find the familiar person. Finally after half an hour he decides to stop his search take out his cigarette and was about to light, when he hears his name “Haku is it you?”. The very familiar voice and he quickly raise his head and to his delight, it was Akira. They chatted and headed to the cafĂ©. He learns of her marriage and she learns of his meaningless life. He even tells her of the letter he had wanted to give to her when he went to see her at Ohioa on 4th March. Now she with mixed feeling doesn’t know what to say tells him it was too late. But in her mind she had the same feeling but now she was already attached to someone.

So from my side of the story, I believe Akira won’t be happy with the marriage and she would call off the wedding and she will definitely marry Haku.

My prediction - part 2.

As he stood there realizing there was no one, he turned and continued his walk. He continued walking and he received a call. He took out his mobile and realized it was Hitana. He answered the call. On the other side Hitana with a sad voice revealed her feeling. She told him how she had crush on her since high school. She just poured out her feeling to him all along the conversation. As she poured out, he also started to realize his existence and………..

As you know, I believe they dated some time and got married.

CONCLUSION

Well as you can see, this is my 2 prediction. But I believe there are many more to the story than this. It is the thought that counts, and the action. We never know what the outcome of it may be, because this is part of our life to, I mean not totally, but partially or maybe half. We can write our thought, but the accuracy is not guaranteed, or maybe. But if you have your thought, you can write it below at the comment icon. Thanks for the movie, the story are not 100% correct as some of the scene I didn’t concentrate well enough. The names are also wrong too, as I couldn’t remember them correctly. But I sure did enjoy the movie, as they didn’t give the ending and it encouraged me to write this down.

The war

In the year of 1625, war was fiercely fought between the 2 different animal kingdoms. Leo an arch enemy of the Keil was a strong contender to be dealt with. As time went by Leo army was forwarding the territory of Keil. Keil on the other hand had to plan a very good strategy to overcome his enemy as victory was unimaginable. So he had no other choice but to let his enemy advance forward. As he had no other option, his wise men had told him let your enemy fall into a trap rather than you fall for it. This was his only option he had and commanded his strategy by fooling his army. This was the only hope he had as he had no other alternative options or else his kingdom will be doomed. His army was decreasing by the days; he had no option but to sacrifice his men to overcome his leadership. Finally on the 35th day, the enemy was just 300 meter of his territory and 50 kilometer from their territory. Keil men were now less than half of what he had by than. Exhausted and fatigue his commander requested him to surrender. As it was totally impossible to fight Leo army since it was a battle of 2 to 1. Keith by now on the upperhand as his wise man had told him to prepare for victory. He commanded his commander who was shocked to hear such things from his king. But his mind started to change as he heard the plan from his King. Finally convinced of his Lord plan, he headed to camp to further elaborate to his subordinate. On the second day as the enemy was almost 150 meter within Keith kingdom, Leo army was attacked from all direction. 30 percent of Leo army was killed within an hour. With such casualty Leo army retreated back as they found that it was a danger zone area. Leo army decided to attack the next day, as it was no point to attack as almost 30 percent of his army was killed so instantly from all direction from Keith army. As days went by they couldn’t attack or move forward. Finally after a week Leo food was almost shortening and his army was all worn out from thirst and hunger. There was no point to attack and were ready to retreat, when Keil army attacked and Leo army had no choice but to surrender. Leo had to surrender he lost his power and he had to flee to save his life.

Making of Nirvana Garden

Since I was sifted to a new hostel near Senaijaya on 13th of May 2008, I had dreamed of making a garden to satisfy my inner self. My hostel was just beside a large compound full of messy grass. I thought of doing something useful with the space since it was vacant. So finally I put my thought into action and my perfect garden was created. After completion I realized that, if you have a dream, making it a reality is the only way out.

22nd Thursday May 2008 – Hoe (mattock) RM12, 3 Wooden Rod RM12 and RM10 ruffian String was purchased for making the garden.

24th Saturday May – Was the initial stage for starting the garden. I came back from work at around 2 plus in the afternoon. The field where I wanted to change it to a garden was very dirty, messy and the soil was solid hard. To start of digging (As the field was stiff, the area had to be dug at least 10 to 15cm deep so that it would be softer and easier to create a garden), I had to first get the right location where I would dig. So I measured 3 locations making it a rectangle as shown below. Why 3? As there was a permanent barricade, I used the barricade as one of the pillar and put 3 other wooden rod making it a rectangular. Before I hammered the rod in, I used a metal rod to get the hole for the initial depth, so that the wooden rod would be easier to naile into the ground. Of course the metal rod was smaller than the wooden rod, so as not to spoil the grip when the wooden rod was inserted into the ground. The wooden rod was inserted and a brick was used to knock it in so that it would go as deep as it can and a better grip would be formed. I assume the wooden rod might at least be inserted 30cm into the ground. After the entire 3 wooden rod inserted, I used the ruffian string to enclose the 3 wooden rods, making it as a fence. Now the garden was completely fenced, (refer below at the drawing) and as I observed, it was around the size of a badminton court.
It was around 4pm when I started digging the field. Let me tell you it was not easy to dig the ground, as it was solid dry and I had to endure the pain when I dug. So to make things easier, I filled pails with water and poured it into the ground so as to soften it. I might have at least poured 4 to 5 pails of water. About 5 minute later, when the ground was softer I started to dig. It was sure more easy compared to the hardened ground, but only at the depth of 5cm further more down it was harder as the water didn’t penetrated deep enough. It was sure painful, and tiring and the sun was not sparing me either. Luckily one of my room mates Indra was around and he helped me dig. As there was only one hoe we took turns digging. Finally around 6 plus we decided to stop the digging due to tiredness and it was time to cook dinner. As observed, only 20% of the area or less was completed.
As I wanted to continue the next day, I had to sprinkle water to the field so as to make the ground softer. As carrying the pail and pouring it was a heavy choice, I decided to use a water hose instead. The only hose we had was only about a meter and I couldn’t find a longer hose from my neighbour. I had no choice but to use our own hose to sprinkle the water. Luckily for me, the incoming water force was strong and I had to grip hard at hose end so as the water could go as far as it can. The water reached almost up to 60% of the field length and I believe it was enough to soften the ground for tomorrow work.

25th Sunday May 2008 - I woke up as early as around 7am. I went out to see the garden and to my surprise, I saw Narayan digging the field. He was digging and there were others too, Deepak, Basanta, Kumar, Harka. They took turns digging and I joined in too. While the digging was proceeding, some went to prepare lunch. Another 25% of the area was completed by 10am and the boys were tired and they said it was better to continue next week. Well it was disappointing to hear this, but I had to understand their opinion. So around 11am after my lunch I left the hostel to accompany Buddhi Man Tamang to the Hospital. He was to be admitted as he had to be operated on Monday. The agents who were supposed to send him couldn’t as it was Sunday. So I took the initiative to accompany him.
I came back around 4pm after admitting Buddhi at the hospital. As I had the heart to continue digging, so I proceede. It was very tiring and the hoe was bent at the rod area due to excessive force used when digging. It had to be straightened every now ant than before continuing. It was sure pretty tiring and I had to take break every now and than and puffed my cigarette along the away. Finally around 7pm plus I stopped and another 40% was completed. Now what was left was only 15% of the area untouched. But I couldn’t go on as I was worn out and it was already dark and the mosquito was enjoying every bit of my precious blood. I had to stop or else I would be sucked out of my blood because of our friendly friend “the mosquito”.

26th Monday May 2008 – Well as usual, I was ready to leave for work. Once I stepped out of the hostel, Basanta and Vijay were ready to dig the ground. So I bid them farewell and I had hoped they will finish the remaining 15%.
When I came back around 6 plus from work, it was disheartening to hear that the hoe was broken and now another hoe had to be purchased.

29th Thursday May 2008 – I bought a new hoe at RM6. It was much smaller compared to the first one I had bought. I had a drink and was a bit tipsy. Around 7pm plus I wore my jeans and headed to the field. I started digging. It was much tougher as the hoe was smaller and I had to use less force to prevent it from breaking. 10% of the area was completed and Deepak came in to help me. We took turns to dig and around 8:30pm it was totally completed. Now the whole area was completed and the area was softer and with my heart contended I continued my drink.
31st Saturday May 2008 – Woke up early in the morning, had no work so prepared lunch and it was ready before 9am. Had it with my roommates and the chours was done. By 9 plus I was already on my garden. As all the area was already dug, further more it had rained heavily the previous day. I had less problem doing the arrangement. I started out from the centre. I had wanted to use ruffian string to get a perfect square, so a circle could be made. But I changed my mind at the last minute due to time waste and human error. I estimated the centre and the square was formed and the centre of the square attained. By 11am the circle was created and the centre waste of sand was removed (Diagram 1). With this done, I had another idea and thought if there was a heavy rain, there was sure bound to have a flood so a drain like system had to be made. So by 12pm 2 long drain construction (Diagram 2) was started. Luckily for me the day was cloudy and it prevented the torturous sun from burning me out. The making of the drain was more tiring to make compared to the rest, as it had to be dug further deep down and sand had to be scooped out. It took more than 2 hours to be completed. In between I had rest and settled other areas too. By 3 I had already started on the other areas (Diagram 3) by seeking Harka help. It was not easy to get a straight line while working and arranging at the same time. Someone had to be observing the work. Harka helped me in the process of getting a straight line of protruding sand. Finally around 4pm every thing was set and the design was created. Now the final touch up was to clear the unwanted material from the sand and to harden the side that was protruding upwards. By 6 every thing was touched up and on some of the area was sprinkled with seeds.

1st Sunday June 2008 – Finally the day came, prepared the lunch. After lunch around 10am I was on the garden and started clearing the place and planted the seeds. The only problem was to clear the area which was messy and to beautify the front side which was untouched, and lastly to maintain it every week. Everything was finally finished and the only thing left is the photo which I am going to take when the plants are growing and the insect that are going to come and make their home and the life cycle of this Nirvana Garden. Lastly I would like to thanks the boys of room 378 for their help in helping me achieve my dream garden. No matter how big or small role you have played in the making of Nirvana garden, without you guys it wouldn’t have been a success. Dhannai Bhaat.
